Our Team

  • Borislav Zivkovic – Founder & Executive Director

After graduating as a forestry engineer in Belgrade and relocating to Niagara Falls in 1999, he planted more than just roots—he ignited a movement.

As the founder and director of both the Nikola Tesla Day Festival (Tesla Fest) and the Serbian School "Nikola Tesla", Borislav has dedicated over 15 years to bringing Tesla's genius and spirit to life in the very place where the inventor changed the world with hydropower. His mission is to celebrate innovation, connection, and the legacy of a man who dreamed considerably—and to ensure every spark of Tesla's story finds its way to future generations.

At Tesla Fest, Borislav is the force behind the vision, the details, and the magic.

  • JOVANA KOCIC JURIC - CREATIVE DIRECTOR & CO-FUNDER

Jovana Kocic Juric is a Serbian language and literature teacher, poet, copywriter, and an old soul with a kid's energy. She attended an elementary school in Belgrade named "Nikola Tesla" and fell in love with her husband, who lived on the street "Nikola Tesla" Unit 1. When she moved to Canada, she started teaching at the Serbian School " Nikola Tesla" and co-founded the Tesla Fest — her life is an endless blue circle and, within it, a Tesla.

  • JELENA CERANIC RANDELOVIC - TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Jelena Ranđelović is an interior designer, producer at Tesla Fest, educator, and cultural activist. As a dedicated teacher at the Serbian School "Nikola Tesla," she fosters a dynamic and engaging learning environment for her students. In her design work, she emphasizes sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials in interior design. Jelena is deeply committed to environmental conservation and community well-being outside her professional roles, reflecting her active and creative lifestyle. A mother of three boys, she balances her family life with her passions for nature, travelling, photography, and embracing new experiences.

  • ALEKSANDERA ZDJELAR - Public Relations MANAGEr

Aleksandra Zdjelar is a devoted mother of two, raising her family amidst the scenic beauty of Niagara Falls. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and channels her passion for human behavior and design into her work as a real estate agent. Fluent in English and Serbian and inspired by Nikola Tesla’s visionary spirit, she brings empathy, innovation, and a keen eye for aesthetics to the Tesla Fest team.

  • Sara Munizaba Bajazet - Social Media Manager

Blending strategy with storytelling, Sara is the digital voice behind Tesla Fest 2025. As Social Media Manager, she crafts immersive online experiences that spark curiosity, build community, and amplify the legacy of Nikola Tesla in fresh, future-facing ways.

A proud Brock University alumna with a degree in English Language and Literature, Sara brings a strong foundation in narrative and communication to everything she creates. As founder of Fisa Media, she’s spent the last 5 years creating content and campaigns for brands across industries.

When not scheduling reels or replying with emojis, you’ll find them keeping their finger on the pulse of trends, creators, and conversations that fuel the next generation of digital storytelling.

  • Filip Bajazet - Videographer and Video Editor

With over 5 years of experience behind the camera, Filip brings a sharp eye and cinematic touch to every frame at Tesla Fest.

He is the co-owner of Fisa Media, where he’s led video projects across a variety of industries — from music and fashion to corporate and lifestyle — before finding his niche in real estate.

Now the founder of Aurora Realty Visuals, a real estate media company, Filip blends technical skill with storytelling to create dynamic, high-impact visuals.

At Tesla Fest, he captures the energy, emotion, and atmosphere of the experience, ensuring every moment is felt long after the final edit.

  • Ana Munizaba - Graphic Designer

After three years in the Graphic Design program at Niagara College (where she kept a 90% average, no big deal), she’s been busy turning clean concepts into scroll-stopping visuals.

She’s the kind of designer who gets excited about experimenting with different styles—whether it’s bold and retro or minimal and modern, she’s all about making things feel fresh and intentional.

And while she can craft something totally portfolio-worthy, what she really wants is this:

To make a design that works hard and looks good doing it. The kind that tells a story, sells a product, or just makes someone stop and say, “Okay, that’s cool.”

Ana brings Tesla Fest’s electric energy to life across every touchpoint.on goes here
